Details- The BISSELL Pet Foundation (BPF) has awarded the Empty the Shelters grant to Halifax Humane Society, Inc. (HHS). This grant allows HHS to participate in the Empty the Shelters event on May 4, 2019 when all featured, spay/neutered, ready to go animals on this day will have a reduced adoption fee of just $25.00 per pet.
 
“The Empty the Shelters grant allows HHS to increase our adoption volume on May 4th,” said Paula Flug, Animal Care Director of Halifax Humane Society. We are very excited to participate in this event and we hope people thinking about giving a homeless animal a forever home will come to our adoption center on May 4th to take advantage of the savings.”
