??????Registration Deadline: May 11 Join Barbara Saunders for an introductory to intermediate class and practice the most useful oil painting methods and materials. Emphasis will be placed on the use of the Prismatic palette in managing the strong pigments found in oil media. The use of color and value to achieve perspective, shape and scale will be demonstrated and practiced. The class will meet in the gardens near the waterfall at 9am and walk to the beach to sketch. The class will then walk back to the museum and meet in the classroom to complete the painting. For those who wish to drive instead of walking to/from the beach, please meet at the Granada Beach Approach at 9:15am. The class will gather in the upper park with the Ormond Garage memorial. CLASS SCHEDULE: 9:00am: Meet in the museum gardens near the waterfall 9:00 - 10:00am: Walk to the beach and sketch 10:00am - 12:30pm: Walk back to museum to paint in classroom All paint will be provided. Students are responsible for some supplies; please see the supply list below. Student Supply List: A pre-primed canvas (16”x20” or smaller) Drawing notebook or loose paper with support (clip board) Five different size brushes Roll of paper towels or a cloth Hand wipes Apron Gloves (optional) Sunscreen
