Renowned Digital Artist Stephen Harlan Art Reception and Demo

Stephen Harlan’s art showcases the exhilarating world of color, reflections, shadow and contrast in a hyper-realistic fashion. These scenes, mostly of boats and Caribbean-esque landscapes, are digitally painted one pixel at a time and easy to mistake as photographs. Stephen says, “One of the best compliments I can receive is for someone to say my work looks like a photo or that they want to be in that scene, because I want to be there too.” His work has been recognized by many and has adorned the covers of national magazines that have run the gamut from commercial, industrial and musical amphitheater promotions to trendsetting publications. In conjunction with the Ormond Mainstreet Art Walk, Ocean Art Gallery invites the public to talk with Stephen and other artists and watch his digital demonstration while enjoying live music, wine and light refreshments.
